Description: This mural tells the story of the original cowboys who settled the ranch lands in central and southern California. The painting is designed to reflect the immensity and wild nature of the job of the Vaqueros. The size and location of the animals speak to the enormity of their task. The movement and gesture is intended to indicate the wild and yet untamed nature of that time.
